Step by Step by Leesa Magical MakerÂ
Hello everyone, Leesa here.  I have called this tag “What’s Cooking” I hope you enjoy! It’s an easy and effective tag for you to get into the festive spirit 🙂Please use what you have in inks, pencils and stamps, be creative and  enjoy what you make! Now let’s create this together. This design can be used for a card with all  3 witches from the  Coven of the Blue Moon stamp set. Â
Picture 1
Using one of the small Lavinia Stamps Watercolour card tags, I blended the following Distress Oxides together; Spiced Marmalade, Seedless Preserve, Wilted Violet and Villainous. Once you’re happy with the blended colours use a fan brush and splatter the card with water. Allow this to dry fully before you continue.

Using Versafine Clair Nocturne I added the following stamps, LAV 918 Tree of Spirits, LAV 911 Bubbling Cauldron (add the bubbles later), LAV 912 one of the Coven of the Blue Moon witches.
Picture 3
Now use Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves and add the bubbles to the cauldron LAV 911, place this where you want the smoke to be, I used 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation stamping on this to give a fabulous, faded effect. Add some foliage at the bottom around the tree, cauldron and our beautiful witch using Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves. Again use 1st and 2nd generation stamping to give a full effect.

I’m now adding the words LAV 920 Witching Hour into the picture. Â I used Versafine Clair Monarch for this to complement the purples in the picture. Place where you feel you want to add some texture. Â I added in the top middle then followed the picture down right to left.

Now for some fun! So for the smoke, first I got a small brush and added water to where I wanted the smoke to flow. Next I added my Kuretake Clean Colour Real Brush Zig pens to my mat and added the following colours to make the smoke 001 fl-yellow 004 fl green don’t be afraid to add the water and blend the colours together including the back ground. I also added the Zig 001 fl-yellow to the lantern light to make it glow.
Picture 6
Now to add little bits of detail, I used the uni-ball Signo white to the top of the cauldron to look as though it was bubbling and into the smoke just here and there, I also added the white to the lantern. Next I drew some little flicks to the ground with the zig pen 010 black to blend into the foliage. Again you can add a little water to this or use water colour pencils.

Yes, mission completed! What a beauty you have created. You can adapt these styles you have used into many different cards and tags, don’t be shy to experiment with what you have. 🙂
