Today’s tutorial features our lovely Thistle Branch stamp from our 2021 Spring collection, stamped directly onto Multifarious card in varying degrees of intensity, to impart an impression of depth.
To colour the card, Tracey used a technique of peppering the card with two different colour Brush powders, then spritzing with water to blend and swirl, creating this stunning effect.
This tutorial features some firm favourites from recent stamp releases and some brand-new stamps. Today we explore how to create a focal point for light and how to compose a scene around the light source. I show the versatility of the tree stamps and how with some simple masking you can group them. We also look at using masks to landscape and colouring and sparkle to enhance the scene. Ultimately, it’s all about layering the products and getting confidence using mixed media.

Today, design team member Jo will share a design using the gel press and PanPastels. She will show us how to apply the pastels through a stencil and then take a print. She will finish off the design with some stamping using our new Forest Hares stamp.
