Deliveries may take longer than normal due to the COVID-19 Pandemic

Whilst we are processing and packing orders within our normal turn-around of one to two working days, the actual deliveries may take longer than usual particularly to overseas destinations.

Please also be aware we are unable to amend orders that are already in the system. Therefore if you need to add any items, please create a new order.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during these unusual times.

Customs Duty, Excise & Other Local Taxes

Prices on this website are calculated in GB Pounds inclusive of UK VAT.  The Shopping Cart and Checkout pages will display the net (ex-VAT) prices, with VAT added to the subtotal at the prevailing rate for the destination country.

The recipient of the order is responsible for all customs formalities relating to their import and where required to do so will need to pay any additional charges, including import duty, customs charges, taxes, levies and any other charges. The recipient of the goods, not the person who’s ordered them, will receive a separate request for payment of these charges.

Customers in the EU, for instance, might be asked locally to pay VAT and customs duty before their parcel can be delivered, when the total order value (including shipping) is 150 euros or more.

We have absolutely no control over this but if you do have to pay these charges, please send us a copy of the receipt and we will refund the VAT amount that you paid when placing the order.

If you are ordering goods for delivery to someone else please make sure they are aware of the possibility of these additional payments and that they will be responsible for payment.

Lavinia Stamps Ltd has no control over these import regulations or additional charges and we suggest you contact the local authorities or postal service in the destination country for further advice.
