Preparing for Christmas by Katarina Eliasson

1. Stamp Wild Pine on Multifarious card. Use Versafine Clair Pinecone for the trunk and Shady Lane for the branches.
2. Use the Pinecone to stamp Tilly, Tango and Moo. Colour them with Watercolour pencils and white Posca pen.
3. The Christmas Tree needs a star on top. Use one of the small Snowflakes and stamp in the Versafine Clair inks, Summertime and Cheerful.
4. Tear paper and use as a template for the snow on the ground. Use Iced Spruce and Weathered Wood with blending brushes, and brush just over the edge of the paper.
5. Use blending brushes and Elements for the sky in Merlot, Emperor red, Della blue and Bermuda. Save some white around the Star and use Versafine Clair Cheerful to make it shine. Put some colour under the tree too.
6. Now draw the Christmas baubles with Gelly roll 3D Glaze Deep red. then paint half the baubles with red Posca and a small dot of white Posca for the shine. For the strings use a black fineliner. Make the tree green with Versafine Clair Shady Lane Ink and a blending brush.
7. Stamp the Gate and Fence with Versafine Clair Morning mist. Use the paper template to mask the snow edge when stamping.
8. Still use the paper template and stamp Christmas Tree Group in Versafine Clair Shady Lane. Paint the lines on the fence with Posca and then with some brown.
9. Colour the lines of the star with orange watercolour pen. Cover the tree and mice with a piece of paper and splash white Posca or white Gesso across the sky as snow.
10. Stamp the words and motifs in Versafine Clair Shady Lane Ink at the bottom of the card.
11. Mount the card and the card is finished. Hope you liked my picture tutorial. Happy crafting!
