My name is Angelique de Groot. I’m a 59-year-old Dutch woman, living in the beautiful Ardennes in Belgium (that’s the French-speaking part of the country) since 1995.
Ever since I can remember I have been drawing, colouring and crafting. It kept me busy in quiet times, happy during sad times and sane in mad times. It has been, and always will be, an important part of me and my life. I love creating my own backgrounds, with inks, stencils, watercolours, Brushos, Gell Plate printing etc.
I’m a cardmaker, but also love colouring (alcohol markers and pencils are my favourite mediums) and drawing and zentangling.
Since 2018, I have been working for various Design Teams in both the UK and the US, and I’m so thrilled (and excited!) to be guest designer of the month of June for Lavinia Stamps. Thanks for having me. I hope you’ll enjoy what I create
