Orbs on Water by Holly Bloomfield

Hello everyone

Here is a new tutorial for Lavinia Stamps enthusiasts.

This time I’m using the Orbs Stencil with Brusho inks on Multifarious Card for the background and the stamps I am using are Trinity Fairy, Orbs and the beautiful Tree of Wisdom.

Acrylic paint white & blue

Various Fan, Stencil, Flat and round brushes.

The Steps in creating the card

I used brusho ink and painted it all over the card, leaving light in places

Next I added some ultramarine brusho ink and covered the bottom to represent water and around the edge leaving the green as a background. Adding the orbs to the water.

Then I stamped the tree on either side, then added Trinity Fairy standing upon one of the orbs. Using a thin layer of glue to her wings I added the fairy-tales glitter

Next I used a round brush and removed some of the background to resemble distant trees. Removed some of the sky to add the moon. With the fan brush I added some leaves to the trees, then added some ripples of white on the water.

Using ultramarine and white acrylic build up the leaves on the trees using the fan brush or a round brush. Add more white to the moon using white acrylic or pastel. Add some bushes to the edge of the river bank. Add some orbs using a dot of acrylic on your finger. Keep building your scene using posca pens and white gel pens, as shown in the main image.
