Janet Blaauw is our guest design team member for March

I have been doing all kinds of creative things all my life, but making cards had been my hobby for the longest time and it still is my favourite hobby to do.
The techniques change, and at the moment I can say that I really like stamping and messing around with inks. And yes, of course, I really like the Lavinia stamps!
I work in one of the largest hobby stores in the Netherlands (HobbyVision) and give various workshops, design scrap albums and do weekly live broadcasts for this store.
So technically I made my hobby my work
Say Hello to the Lavinia Stamps Design Team
Jo Rice
I have always loved being creative and have dabbled in many crafts. After being medically retired as a Therapeutic Radiographer a number of years ago I found card making, and have never looked back. I love all types of papercraft but my main passion is inky play and stamping. I first met Tracey and discovered Lavinia stamps at a local show and totally fell in love with the hand-drawn detail and exquisite designs that she offers.
I am very lucky to be able to run workshops, and love to share ideas with fellow Crafters. (Plus we always have cake !!! )
My best friend and husband Karl is very supportive, we have two grown-up sons, two grandsons and a black Labrador.
I am very proud and excited to be a part of this fabulous team…
Katarina Eliasson
Hello, I’m Katarina Eliasson and I’m so honoured and excited to become a member of the design team.
I discovered the beautiful Lavinia stamps only 6 months ago and I’m hooked.
I live in the countryside in Sweden with my husband and our two dogs. Out in the pastures we have alpacas and sheep. I have three children and five grandchildren.
I’ve always loved crafting. In the past, I’ve done much knitting, crochet, and painting. But now I’m only making cards with the amazing Lavinia Stamps, and I love it. It’s my way of getting rid of my stress and thinking of something else. And great fun of course!
Mona Hauge
Hello, my name is Mona Hauge and I am from Norway.
I am so excited about this wonderful opportunity to share my work with you as a member of the Lavinia Design Team.
About a year ago I got my first stamp and I fell in love with creating with these magical stamps. I live in a small city south of Oslo called Horten, with my supportive husband of 26 years. We have two grown daughters and we both work full-time.
In my free time, I create as much as I can and I do workshops on how to create with Lavinia stamps.
My favourite thing about this hobby, besides the inner peace it gives me, is to share with other people and contribute to them finding their own way and style in the Lavinia world.
Karen Telfer
Hi, I’m Karen and I have been creatively crafting ever since I can remember. I first started selling some of my crafty pieces when I was 15 and I have taught crafts to adults and children for many years. Now I teach monthly workshops in Guildford, Surrey, where we have a great time making cards, tags, and journal pages using paints, inks, stamps, stencils and more.
I have lived and worked on three continents and I have an impressive stash of supplies carefully ‘collected’ over the past 25 years.
I have three gorgeous grown-up children who have encouraged my crafty endeavours over the years.
You can watch my regular video tutorials on the Lavinia
website or on Youtube where I hope my passion for Lavinia stamps shines
through.
Julie Blakeman
Hi there, I have loved to craft for as long as I can remember.
I took crafty O-levels, Needlework and Pottery, and after leaving school I trained as a florist, going on to manage several shops.
These days I work with young children and enjoy sharing my love of crafts and getting messy with them. Who knows, they could be “Lavinia lovers” of the future.
I still love to sew and have made cards for many years, I don’t think I have a particular style, I just like clean designs. I like to stamp and love working with Lavinia Stamps. I consider myself very lucky to continue to be part of the talented Lavinia team!
Rosemary Rogers
Hi. I’m Rosemary. I live in London with my husband, son and daughter. I am really looking forward to being a member of the Lavina Stamps design team.
I have been paper crafting for just over 10 years. Before this I was a tutor in cake making and decorating, I still occasionally make cakes for friends and family.
I work full time in a Primary School, so I love to craft in the evenings and weekends once all the house chores have been done.
I enjoy a wide variety of paper crafting and enjoy trying a wide variety of different techniques. I love attending a Monthly workshop where I have learnt a huge amount from a very talented lady and met lots of wonderful kind crafty ladies and gentlemen.
Like many other crafters, I am enthusiastic about using Lavinia stamps as they are very versatile and easy to use.
Sarah Anderson
Hi, I’m Sarah, a special needs teacher by day and a messer-abouter with inks, paper and stamps in the in-between times! I live with my very understanding husband, south of Manchester, and look forward to the times that our newly fledged sons and daughter come home for the weekend.
I have been stamping for 30 years, which is a scary number to write! I find playing with inks and stamps etc very relaxing and am passionate about grown-ups finding time to play – it is so good for your mental health! Especially when you play with the stunningly beautiful stamps that Tracey designs. Fairies are such magical creatures, aren’t they?
Over the years I am honoured to have had my work published in a variety of magazines, including Somerset Studio and Art Journaling magazine, and you’ll currently find me writing for Craft Stamper three or four times a year. I’ve also written a number of step by step articles for Lavinia Stamps which you can find right here on the website.
Amanda Branston
Hi, my name is Amanda.
I live in a beautiful rural part of Leicestershire.
I started crafting in November 2013, but I have been playing with pencils, crayons, and paint since I was little. I really enjoy getting inky, especially with friends and stamping gives me a quick art fix I just adore.
My other passion is photography. Each hobby helps and inspires the other!
Eleana Evans
Hi, I am Eleana.
I found Lavinia Stamps, only a year ago when I got hooked onto stamping and inking. I love creating my own things like cards, gift bags, frames, 3D projects, etc and selling them through my local craft shop. Where I volunteer to teach about inks and stamps to beginners. Learning them about, inking & blending techniques, understanding inks, etc. I also attend their craft group on a weekly basis. I am grateful to have the opportunity to be on the Lavinia Stamps Design Team and to see what this year brings.
I have been a crafter for many years, doing things like needlework & Kumihimo. Then I started to make Christmas cards with my daughter when she was in college. And that was how I got into card-making. I tried a lot of different styles from card kits to using cutting dies. But never seemed satisfied, before I tried stamping.
I live in Lancashire with my grown-up daughter and son. We have a dog called Connie, who we adopted when she was only 12 weeks and now is 4 years old, very happy and loved. She is the third dog that I have adopted.
