Masking Sheet Stamping Techniques
Lavinia Masking Sheets are an incredibly versatile paper-crafting tool, and in today’s tutorial, Tracey shows how to use them to achieve crisp, clean stamped images, free from background colour interference. For this project, she worked with three shades of green from the Elements Ink range.
To create a beautiful organic background texture, Tracey used the Pebble Stencil, adding further depth with a faded text effect with the Water Spirit Verse Stamp.
This masking technique is especially effective with intricate stamps, like the stunning Forest Cap Toadstool, which takes centre stage on the final card.
To finish, Tracey added extra stamping with various foliage stamps to enhance the nature-inspired theme, and all the fine details were brought to life with Posca Pens and Watercolour Pencils.
