Hi to all you lovely Lavinia folk! I’m Tina, I’m 63 years young, and I live in a bungalow in a tiny hamlet in rural Buckinghamshire. I share it with my husband of 40 years Paul, and my Welsh Pembrokeshire Corgi, Callie. My two sons have left home now, and I’m blessed with two beautiful grandchildren who I adore. Apart from the grandchildren and walks with Callie, my other joy is baking. My neighbours love to help me test my bakes, which is great for them, but not so good for my figure!Â
I have been making art for some 22 years, having returned to college full time to study Art & Design at the ripe old age of 40. A midlife crisis I reckon!  I started by painting and selling my art from then. I have a huge love of trees, and they featured in my work for many years. They were usually big paintings on large canvasses.
Back about 10 years ago, I found Lavinia Stamps at the NEC in Birmingham after getting into crafting & card making. I fell in love instantly! I have a fascination with the magical and mystical, and Tracey’s awesome designs just captivated me. I really enjoy creating vibrant, colourful scenes with yummy backgrounds, and if they have some impact, then even better. Where I live, I often see deer, foxes and hares and these designs of Tracey’s are my favourite stamps to use.
The past few years have been difficult for me, but getting into my craft room and getting lost in a Lavinia creation, is absolutely the best tonic for me! They are usually my most loved days. I hope you enjoy seeing my makes, and they bring you some magical inspiration.
