Hi everyone,
It’s Guest DT Jeannette here. I hope you enjoy this tutorial. Thank you for joining me. This step by step is titled “Fantasy World”
Step 1: Using Lavinia Hot Pressed Watercolour card and spray it with a little water, then spray Lavinia Stamps Acrylic Sprays Bright White and Periwinkle and Teal. Then let it dry.
Step 2: Stamp the Tree of Wisdom LAV609 and the Sacred Bridge small LAV866 in Versafine Clair Rainforest.
Step 3: Using Lavinia Elements ink Pine, Truffle and Sahara create the land either side of the water that will flow under the bridge. See the picture for placement. Using Elements ink Della blue on a watercolour brush add some blue under the bridge and also four stripes to create the start of the waterfall. Please see picture for placement.
Step 4: For the waterfall use the Gioconda white pastel pencil to create the falling water on top of the blue Della Blue that we did in Step 3. Add touches of White Posca Pen dots to the water.
Step 5: Now stamp the Tree Stem LAV643 and add the Fern Leaf LAV124 in Versafine Clair Rainforest. Add some stones at the side of the waterfall by stamping the rocks from the Forest Moss Set LAV857 and Stones small LAV457 in Versafine Clair Rainforest.
Step 6: Now add foliage to the trees by adding dots using Posca pens in yellow, light green and middle green. See the picture for placement.
Step 7: Colour the tree trunk by using Stencil Brush series 3 and Elements inks Truffle. Stamp the Fern Leaf LAV124 on the side of the waterfall in Versafine Clair Rainforest and Titanium White Panpastel for the moon using an acetate circle mask.
Step 8: Now stamp the Flora set LAV638 along the side of the waterfall and colour in your own choice of Posca pens. Stamp in Versafine Clair Rainforest Tree Stem so that it lies at the front of the card and the tree is over the waterfall. Then add flowers so they appear to be growing from the tree.
Step 9: Stamp the Beavers Howard LAV715 and Heidi LAV714 in Versafine Pinecone and colour the fur with pastel pencils.
Step 10: Using a Hill mask, or ripped copy paper if you wish, blend in some Elements ink  Della blue above the bridge and to the right of the tree. Now stamp the Far world castle’s LAV534 in Versafine Clair Shady Lane.
Step 11: Stamp the Birds LAV097 and the Horse and Foal LAV006 in Versafine Clair Twilight and use a green pastel pencil and Posca green and white pens for sprigs of grass. Finally draw the white lines for the star effect with a Gioconda white pastel pencil. Using a Micron Pigma fineliner add some detail to the roof of the castle, the beavers and under the bridge too. Mount your card to finish.
