If you were familiar with the Conservatives Club layout of old, you might be looking at these photos and wondering where this is. Let me explain.
Things have changed. Some walls have gone and red brick walls appeared. The red brick wall in the photo below used to be on the right hand side as you walk through the front door. There was a red notice board on it and then the door led into an office.
It was this office that we used as a base when the Most Haunted team visited.
As the plaster and the white paint is removed so red brick walls appear and the history of the construction of the house becomes clearer.
Beams are appearing everywhere; above the stairs and in the snug too!
It’s a funny time. At the beginning of any large project it can seem like the work is never-ending! Like unpicking a seam to remake a garment. So it is with peeling away the layers of history to breathe new life into Plas Coch.
We need patience, but, Oh! for a magic wand!
It is a massive undertaking but one thing we are sure of it will be worth the wait because …
…it’s going to be amazing.
