With the preliminary investigations completed the Renovation team rumbled into position ready to crack on! As you can imagine it’s a multi-disciplinary team. So let’s take you around the Renovation team and introduce you.
The first trade into the building and ready to get started is Pete Morgan, seen below behind the Bar. He’s local to the Ruthin area and joiner extraordinaire, with experience a ‘plenty of creating Tracey’s magical vision. You can see some of his existing work in the Lavinia Stamps shop today.
The leader of the building team is a gentleman called Mick of CBR Contractors. Seen below, in the centre, smiling at the start of the job! Fingers crossed he’ll still be smiling at the end! There’s Rowan, Paul, Callum, and Al too, no doubt we will be seeing them as the work continues!
As the Builders arrived on site, things began to change…Wooden beams were exposed and even panels of wattle and daub were found! How exciting! Wattle and daub should last indefinitely and it’s certainly looking good!
Ooh…and the roof/ceiling tiles came off the snooker room today –
All in all a cracking start!
