The scaffolding has arrived!
With the scaffolding up it was time to make a start on fixing the chimneys.
Just looking at the chimney
This visit Callum, the multi-skilled, was making a tray to fit in the chimney, this will help stop water from getting where it shouldn't be! My words don't do it justice though.
So I asked the man in charge; Mick. The photographs he sent also show the step by step process.
"Chimney trays are designed to prevent water penetration and ingress into the building through the chimney stack.
We weld all our lead on-site to ensure the correct fit.
It's a very skilled trade."
