It’s no secret we had hoped by now to be safely in The Old Conservative Club/Plas Coch/ The Dreamatorium, however things happened along the way.
First of all it’s a Grade 2 listed property which means there are more regulations to follow than a normal property.
Tracey and Kevin of Lavinia Stamps were always going to treat the house with the respect it deserved, renovating the property to help preserve it for the generations to come.
Just that is a Big Ask.
The added self-applied pressure of wanting to be in there as soon as possible has meant whenever a cancelled tradesman, an extra regulation, or even just rain stopped play…it caused disappointment.
Not just to Tracey, Kevin and the team, but also to our customers. Each time this happened the move in date was set back making it seem like a never-ending task.
We said we were aiming for 2024. We were aiming for it, but the truth is it will be 2025.
Things are progressing beautifully. The trades are in. The plumbers, the electricians, the plasterers, painters, carpenters and joiners mean the work at Plas Coch has turned a corner and there is light at the end of the tunnel.
