Hello everyone.I am so excited about these new stamps. They are all so beautiful and they are so much fun to play with.
I made this picture tutorial for you called “Blessing the Little Ones. ” Hope you like it. I have also incorporated a few of my favourite stamps so it goes with the Challenge of this month which is My Favourite Stamp”
Step-by-Step
- Step 1: First, stamp the gorgeous Ariel into A5 Multifarious card; add the Gate and Fence, one of my many favourite stamps, and then the super cute Bijou in Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves.
- Step 3: Put some liquid masking on the fence, then stamp the magical Forest Flower and the leaves from the Vine Set in Versafine Clair Rain Forest.
- Step 4: Stamp some more leaves on the trees with the Vine Set but this time with Versafine Clair Shady Lane. Stamp many Bluebells another one of my favourite stamps, Stamp both first and second time stamping with Versafine Clair Shady Lane.
- Step 5: Stamp more Bluebells and leaves. Now use a Hills Mask to create some mountains. I use a Stencil Brush with just a hint of colour for this. Stamp the Far World Castle (another one of my favourites) in Versafine Clair Morning Mist. Do a second- or third-time stamp then it will appear further away. No need to mask the tree as there will be so little ink on the stamp, it will not cover any of the branches or leaves.
- Step 6: Now it’s time for some beautiful colours. I always start with the darkest colour and do a rainbow shape. Then the lighter colour on top, but a little bit more towards the middle so that it will get gradually lighter. I used Elements Violet Chalk, Merlot, and Mulberry for the sky and then some Olive on the ground and for the flowers.
- Step 7: Let us create a glow in our picture, with some yellow and orange Pan Pastel. I love the small stencil brushes for applying the Pan Pastels.
- Step 8: Now we can colour the stamps images. I love to use some Aquarelle pencils for the bigger stamps, and Posca pens for the flowers, in purple, lilac, and beige.
Why not share yours with us, and maybe you can sneak in your favourite stamp too!
