The intricately detailed Zen Mushroom House forms the centrepiece of today’s lovely card. Tracey used Distress Ozideink applied directly onto Multifarious Card with the Brayer roller to prepare a graduated background. A mushroom-shaped paper mask ensured the stamped fairy lanterns were depicted behind the house and the whole scene was enhanced using diluted Brusho inks with a fine paintbrush.
Despite being one of our older stamps, the Tree Goddess Luna is still a firm favourite with our fairy lovers. Here she rests upon a branch in the moonlight against a backdrop created by brayering Distress Oxide ink into a six-inch circular Gel Press and dappling with diluted Brusho inks.
By way of an introduction, Tracey demonstrates both the vivid and subtle qualities of these fabulous new inks and then utilises them to create a lovely Thistle card, inspired by her recent trip to Scotland.
A Tale of Two Dragons.
Today’s card features our cheeky little imp, Rory, waving off a pair of Dragons into the night sky. For the background, Tracey used a base of Distress Oxide rollered onto an A5 Gel Press and dappled with diluted Brusho inks.
The Receding Forest
Another Gel Press backdrop made with Colourbox ink and dappled with droplets of Brushos is perfect for creating this woodland scene. Depth is created by stamping fainter distant trees and bringing others to the fore using heat-intensified Wow Embossing Powder.
