Acrylic Paint Technique Using a Baby Wipe by Annie Frazer
Design Team member Annie Frazer shares her innovative approach to making Acrylic Paint backgrounds using a baby wipe.
The result is this lovely underwater scene featuring our fish stamp, “Flo”.

The supplies I used are:
Baby Wipes (I use unscented)

The Steps in creating the card

- Cut paper to desired size. You can also use masking tape to tape off a small border around card onto a flat surface. This will give the card a nice boarder. You can trim off if you don’t want the broader in the final piece. I tape the paper down to keep from buckling.
- I start by lightly spreading one color over the surface of the card. I did a layered effect and added colors over this background layer.
- You can blend colors into each other. Dry completely before moving onto the next step.
- Stamp background images on card leaving a space for central image. Cover with embossing powder and heat.
- Stamp central image and emboss. Mount to card for finishing.
Have a go, have fun!
