Who we are and what we do
Lavinia Stamps pride themselves on original hand-drawn designs. The images are very personal to Tracey.
“I have always drawn, right from a young age, basically as soon as I could pick up a pencil. Drawing fairies and fantasy came naturally to me. At times I felt as though the fairies were actually controlling the pencil. Sometimes there are so many images dancing around in my head, it’s hard to get them down on paper fast enough.
Some images are instant and some I go back to again and again until I feel happy with the end result. This can sometimes take months, but I never release anything until it’s perfected.
The images I draw are from the heart, you must feel them, deepen your mind and allow them in. A slight movement out the corner of my eye sparks a story waiting to be told on paper. Once you still your mind, everything magical comes flooding in. For me, once they start, it’s hard to switch them off.
I feel incredibly fortunate to channel such a magical gift, best of all though, is to be able to share this gift with so many like-minded people and there are a lot of us out there. It’s no fun experiencing such an enlightening journey if you have no one to share it with, so a huge thank you to those of you who have joined us on our Magical journey, may it always continue”.
