Well Carol has very kindly shed some light on Paper weaving, So in her words below, she explains how she did it….Thanks for taking the time Carol
Paper weaving? I have never seen it done so don’t know if this is the ‘right’ way but it works for me!
I use 3 or 4 co-coordinating papers and cut them into 1cm strips. Measure your card blank then take your piece of card that you want to use, I leave enough space to mat & layer when finished. Place a thin strip of double sided tape right at the top edge of your card, then carefully place a line of strips making sure there are no gaps between. When you have done this take your first strip and place it at the left side near the top, you will see where to start from the place where your line of double sided tape ends. I use a little bit of glue to anchor it, then take it under the next vertical strip, over, under etc until you reach the right hand edge. The next strip goes under the vertical strip. Make sure that it butts up nicely to the first strip so there are no gaps showing. Then you just work your way down the card. I finish with another thin piece of double sided tape at the bottom. I also use glue at the beginning and end of each horizontal strip to keep it in place. Then trim off the excess, mount your images on it & it’s ready to mat & layer onto your card blank
