Enter the magical world under the sea with these themed stamps from the new release. They work wonderfully together and creating this scene was a real joy.

  • Seaweed
  • Sea Bubbles
  • Fairy Barnacle
  • Shoal of fish
  • Deeper than the Ocean quote
  • Brusho: Ultramarine, Turqoise, Leaf Green, Emerald Green, Orange
  • Versafine: Onyx Black, Spanish Moss, Toffee
  • Adirondack: Denim
  • Distress Inkpads: Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers
  • Circle Die
  • Glitter: Green, , Orange, Gold
  • White Card
  • Plastic Box lid, or similar
  • Water spray
  • Pritt Stick

How to..

1 Use a circle die to cut a circular aperture in the front of a square white card.

2 Cut a piece of card the size of the front of the card. Place it behind the the aperture and mark the position of the circular hole.

3 Label the card 'top' and 'bottom'.

4 Sprinkle Ultramarine, Turquoise and a smidge of Leaf Green Brusho on the lid of a plastic box (or similar).

5 Spritz with water.

6 Place the square of white card on the wet Brusho to create a watery print.

7 Stamp the mermaid using Onyx Black ink.

8 Stamp the mermaid again on a scrap of paper to use as a mask

9 Position the mask on the mermaid and stamp the shoal of fish using the Toffee inkpad.

10 Stamp more fish as shown.

11 Using the blue distress inkpads, ink the word 'Dream' from the quote.

12 Stamp the word 'Dream' repeatedly in the top left corner.

13 Stamp seaweed as shown using Spanish Moss ink.

14 Use a blue inkpad to stamp bubbles near the seaweed as shown.

15 Sprinkle Orange Brusho on the lid of a plastic box (or similar), spritz with water and take a print onto another piece of white card. Repeat with the green Brusho inks.

16 Stamp the coral onto the Orange card.

17 Cut out a single piece of coral. Use the mermaid stamp to stamp her fingers onto the coral in order to give the effect that she is holding a small piece of coral. Attach to her hand using Pritt Stick.

18 Stamp three pieces of seaweed, using Spanish Moss, on the green Brusho card, and the end of the mermaid's tail. Stamp the coral on the orange Brusho card using Toffee and cut out all the pieces as shown.

19 Use watercolour paints to colour the rocks that the mermaid is sitting on.

20 Attach the seaweed with Pritt Stick as shown.

21 Glue the picture to the aperture card.

22 Attach the coral and the end of the mermaid's tail as shown. Stamp the sentiment with Adirondack Denim ink, or similar. Add glitter as shown.
