Say “Hello” to our Design Team
Hello, I started crafting in 2004, trying all sorts of paper crafting techniques. I found that inks and stamping were ‘my thing’.
I retired from a full time career in Retail Pharmacy in 2008 and now I enjoy crafting more or less all day, every day.
I’m married to Ken and we share our home with two small dogs, sisters, Daisy and Holly who we adore …. and two Ferrets! I teach at some local craft workshops that I organise and run in North Kent. I also enjoy wild life / bird watching and reading.
I’ve been crafting in one way or another since I was little, my Grandma was a seamstress, so I learnt how to sew quite early in life. Art was always my favourite subject at School, (when I wasn’t taking in class) and I was always doing some sort of arty stuff with my hands, making things!!! I learnt how to work with sugar paste some 17 years ago, and made flowers and models, for decorating cakes.
Paper crafting came into my life about 10 years ago, when I started making very primitive cards, with bits of paper and feathers, and 3 years ago I started playing with stamps and inks, which has now become my passion.
I have 3 fantastic sons, the youngest still living at home with myself and my lovely, patient partner, who is a musician, and doesn’t mind my crafty addiction ………. thank goodness!!!!
Hi, I’m Karen and I like all types of crafting, especially card making which I have been doing for about 10 years now.
I still have the very first card I made which is truly awful but when I made it I thought it was the “bees knees”. I love stamping in particular as I find colouring in with my lovely Copics very relaxing and satisfying.
I live with my Husband, Ian and two cats, Jasper and Ollie who are brothers and as different as chalk and cheese. I work full time which love but also enjoy bird watching and reading.
Hi everyone, I’m Barbara, and I live just outside of the beautiful World Heritage City of Bath, with my lovely man Alan and our German Shepherd, Finn. I have two fantastic ‘grown-up’ sons, one beautiful daughter-in-law and our first grandchild is due in April.
I have crafted all of my life in one way or another….from the age of 15, I had a great little cottage industry going with hand/machine knitted & crocheted garments and interior design. This continued until 6 years ago when I rediscovered paper crafts and jewellery making.
I now concentrate on card making and since starting, my family say I’ve turned into a hermit…….every minute outside of the house is a minute less in my craft room!
I started crafting without really knowing what I was doing was called digital crafting, when I was asked to do the programs posters etc. for a local Am Dram society in about 1989.
Then a few years later I met Eileen who showed me that instead of just digital crafting, there was a whole world of other possibilities out there, and I was hooked.
The very first stamps I bought were from Lavinia and I haven’t looked back – I’ll have a go at anything and I am at my happiest covered in ink and sparkle. I have a very patient husband Nick and two lovely boys/young lads.
In between crafting I also run my own business. Unfortunately, I have a bad back, and find crafting one of the best pain relief on the market! In fact, it should be on the NHS.
Hi everyone, I am a huge craft addict and love being creative.
Over the years I have designed wedding invitations; created centrepieces and favours for weddings; decorated themed halls for school proms; I even crochet and cross stitch, but paper crafting has to be my favourite pastime. I love being able to shut myself away and play.
I have been card crafting for about 10 years. Like some of the other DT members, I used card kits and digital crafting for my designs. In the past few years, I have really got into using different mediums, inks, paints, alcohol pens, stamps and stencils to make my creations. I love making cards and keepsakes for family and friends.
I live with my wonderful husband, two grown up children and my adorable Labrador. I had hoped that as the children grew up I’d have more time to craft however, My Labrador just sees this as more playtime and walkies for her and with such beautiful eyes, I just can’t say no.
I am over the moon to be on the Lavinia Stamps Design Team and I hope that my designs encourage and inspire others to be creative.
Hi there, I have always loved to craft, I took crafty O levels , needlework and pottery.
When I left school I became a florist so as you can see, I have always loved to create. I have made cards for many years but have to admit that my early cards were very basic.
Anyway, time moves on and like many crafters I discovered stamping, Copics and inks, I don’t think have a particular style, I just like clean designs.
I love to share my ideas and to inspire others, I’m chuffed to have been asked to join the talented Lavinia team.
Hi, I’m Zoe, I’m married to Steve and have a daughter who lives in Canada and a gorgeous Shih Tzu called Ernie, who is very lazy! I live in a lovely Dickensian seaside town in Kent.
Having been a hairdresser for over 30 years and owning my own salon for 20 of those, I am now a Foster carer and love it.
My Great Nan taught me to knit at 5 years old and I’ve dabbled with all sorts of craft since then, paper craft is my passion I’ve made cards for the last 15+ years, I love stamping and inky stuff, I love experimenting with different techniques and mediums, I don’t have a particular style, like a lot of crafters it changes frequently and of course it’s where most of my money goes lol!
I feel my crafting skills have improved greatly over the last couple of years and certainly since joining in Facebook groups etc, I’m inspired by many talented crafters, Eileen Godwin, Tracey Dutton, Tim Holtz, Hels Sheridan, Wendy Vecchi, etc etc too many to mention.
I am beyond delighted to be part of the team and work with amazing products and with very talented crafters.
Hi. I’m Rosemary. I live in London with my husband, son and daughter. I am really looking forward to being a member of the Lavina stamps design team.
I have been paper crafting for just over 10 years. Before this I was a tutor in cake making and decorating, I still occasionally make cakes for friends and family.
I work full time in a Primary School, so I love to craft in the evenings and weekends once all the house chores have been done.
I enjoy a wide variety of paper crafting and enjoy trying a wide variety of different techniques. I love attending a Monthly workshop where I have learnt a huge amount from a very talented lady and met lots of wonderful kind crafty ladies and gentlemen.
Like many other crafters I am enthusiastic about using Lavinia stamps as they are very versatile and easy to use.
Hi, I am Bibiana and I love to share my passion of card making with all of you.
I was born in South America, Colombia, lived in Mexico, France and now currently living in California, USA.
Although, my formal training is in languages, (I teach French and Spanish), and when I discovered the world of rubber stamping, I passionately and deeply fell in LOVE! I started collecting, learning and right away I found myself teaching card making. Not long after, the urge to share this passion, with a wider audience, became more present and my personal Blog “Stamping with Bibiana” came to life
My posts, showcase cards, paper crafts projects or ideas that I make for my personal use, that I find pretty. I design for various Stamp/craft companies “Memory Box”, for “Lost Coast Designs” and for “Lavinia Stamps”. Besides, being currently in the MB, DT, I, also, am in charge of posting and writing for the Spanish and French blogs for Memory Box.
Stamping is a wonderful hobby! It has made me extremely happy, has been a door to wonderful opportunities of growth, including the chance to meet real nice and sweet people from all sorts of backgrounds that share this same passion…like YOU! I hope that you find something inspiring through what I like to do! Thank you so much for taking the time to read, visit the blog and look at my creations! Bibiana.
My name is Marianne Lait and I work Full Time as a Cashier Team Leader for my sins.
I have been crafting since I was a child as my Mum used to show my Sisters and I from an early age how to paint, sew and create all kinds of wild and wonderful creations.
I for a number of years used to Cross Stitch and as I couldn’t part with these due to the time they took me and as I wanted to share something with my family and friends I took up Making Cards by Stamping an image a number of times, painting each one and decoupaging them to create a 3d focal point on my cards.
Hi All, I’m Maggs,
I’ve been a crafter for approx 5 years, have tried lots of things, but have always remained consistent in my love for Lavinia.
I’m a Mum of four grown up children, three grandchildren and a crazy Springer Spaniel. I LOVE going on ‘make believe’ adventures with my grandchildren (My Motto: Growing old is compulsory, growing up is optional).
I love spending time down our caravan in the summer and out and about with my camera. I love nature and fairies, which is where my love for Lavinia stems from. I feel inspired by nature.
To be asked to join Lavinia DT was truly a dream come true. I’m really excited to be part of the next chapter of Lavinia’s adventures and can’t wait to share with you. xx
Hi, my name is Amanda.
I live in a beautiful rural part of Leicestershire.
I started crafting in November 2013, but I have been playing with pencils, crayons, and paint since I was little. I really enjoy getting inky, especially with friends and stamping gives me a quick art fix I just adore.
My other passion is photography. Each hobby helps and inspires the other!
