Lovely landscapes by Lynne, it appears that Lynn has really mastered this technique, thank you for sending them in.
Both images are embossed with black sparkle embossing powder on the pre-prepared backgrounds. These were made as part of a mini workshop by Paddy at Paddy’s Stamping Place.
The pink one has ink applied using cut’n'dry foam, which was then stamped with a rollagraph and text and gold pearl paint stencilled through a snakeskin stencil.
The green one has a small flourish stamped with versamark then coloured pen was put on crinkled cellophane, spritzed with water then used to apply colour to the glossy card. It was then stamped with a rollograph.
Thanks for sharing that with us Sarah, i just love the texture on the background

Jackie has sent in a lovely card,
Jackie has stamped the Thistle in Adirondack Twilight Purple and then mounted it on a floral purple card which compliments the Thistle beautifully,
Thank you
I have had a few people contact me regarding the technique of Brayering and a few of you experience lines on your card, and have tried everything to get rid of them some of you have had to walk away in pure frustration…….,i do sympathize i am a little like that with computors….Anyway its down to one simple thing TO MUCH INK ON THE ROLLER , once you have inked your roller up make sure the area that you are using on your roller is completely covered, then on a scrap piece of A4 paper take the ink back off three or four times the length of the scap paper, so there is no surface ink on the roller left, now you can start using the Brayer on your card.
if youwant a stronger colour just repeat the above process dont be tempted to put a whole load more ink on, you wil just end up in one big mess……..
Your card is important i use matt card but it still needs to be very smooth …no texture almost silky.
Use a one way movement…..not backwards and forwards.
Its really that simple…. if anyone has any other questions please email me,and i will do what i can to help,
in the mean time i hope this helps some frustated people out there……
xx

This lovely card was sent in from Kim, and heres how she did it.
Thanks Kim
I masked out the fairy and moon on the stamp and inked just the starswith embossing ink, then removed the mask and stamped and silver embossed the stars. Then I masked out the embossed stars and stamped the fairy and moon with versafine imperial purple. I stamped a second image onto a post-it, cut out the moon just inside the line and stuck the mask over the moon. I then brayered the top part of the picture using an Adirondack Wildflower rainbow pad, then using torn paper I did mountains at the bottom with Adirondack Eggplant. The mask was removed to reveal a white moon. Finally I added the Orchid stamp to the top and the fern leaf to the bottom. I used mini gems and glitter to embellish, and a dragonfly brad. The picture is mounted on two shades of purple. Couldn’t have done it without your lovely stamps!
