Here we have a lovely card sent in from Anne…decorated with Flower Soft with a fantastic shimery background …
and here is how Ann did it….. Thanks Ann
The background is a mix of Glimmer Mist and Starburst Stain sprays. I stamped the left hand margin with the sea-weed stamp in pigment ink (Bamboo I think) and then stamped the flower twice in Moss Green pigment ink. The big advantage of your stamps is you can bend the stems any way you want. I used one of those glue biros to put very small dots of glue on the flowers and then tipped some Flower Soft (Sweet Pea colour) over the glue and shook off the excess. Its best to do a little at a time otherwise the glue dries before you get the Flower Soft on. I added a little glitter to each flower, just letting it stick where it landed – I didn’t add any more glue. I layered that piece onto a sheet of pearlescent paper (being careful not to knock off the Flower Soft). Then stuck that to a folded piece of card.
Flower Soft really lends itself to stamping. All you have to remember is to get a plastic box to store each tub in. In the tub that you buy its very compressed. You need to take a little out of the tub and rub it through your fingers a few times into your storage box (like making pastry) then it separates enough to not stick in big ugly clumps!
